My name is Stephen, and Efren was my best friend for over 30 years. He was one of the sweetest and most loyal friends anyone could’ve asked for, with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Unfortunately, Efren fell on hard times, becoming homeless for the last 4 and a half years, and was found deceased on December 29, 2021 near his childhood home in Vista, CA. Sadly, his brother Edgar unexpectedly passed away November 14, 2021. Due to his brother’s passing just over a month before his own, Efren’s family needs all of the help they can get to take care of memorial and postmortem services. Efren, or “Junior” as those closest with him knew him, loved his loved ones more than he loved himself, and would be willing to go above and beyond for any of us if we had asked him. The least we can do is help his family in their time of need, and do what we can to give Efren a proper memorial deserving of such a loving man. The hole left in our hearts with the loss of our friend, brother, son, cousin, and uncle has been difficult to deal with. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
