- On December 27th, Efren and his family lives changed unexpectedly. He was admitted to the hospital. Even though he missed the holidays and his wife Karla and son Gael’s birthday, he was determined to come home to them. While recovering at a rehab center, his health took a turn. After two strokes , neumonía and a heart attack, God decided it was time for him to come home with him.
