On January 2, 2022, 17 year old student athlete Efrem Only was involved in a serious accident that resulted in the loss of his right eye. Efrem has begun the process of having surgeries, but will require an additional complex surgery, after which he will require therapy as he tries to adjust to this new normal.Due to the nature of Efrem's injuries, his future medical expenses and prosthetic requirements are difficult to predict and medical insurance will only go so far. 

Efrem is a positive and resilient young man that is loved by his mother, father, siblings, and a host of family, friends, teachers and coaches. Efrem is in his senior year of High School and this past season was the star running back, leading the school to one of their best seasons in history. He has received several scholarship offers to play football at Universities, however, with his injuries that dream must be put on hold. 

The road to recovery will be long and we are calling on our village to help Efrem get back to living a full and active life. With this GoFundMe page, we're hoping to raise much needed funds to go towards medical care, ongoing therapy, and college expenses.
