Efrain Lemus (Frank) and family support

On Thursday, August 31st, 2023, my dad Efrain Lemus was in a severe car accident along with my mom Rosario Ramirez. Efrain is still in critical condition with multiple fractures and a traumatic brain injury. He remains in the ICU on mechanical ventilation. My mom has a fracture in her spine and bruising. She has been discharged from the hospital but remains by my dad's side in the ICU.

Our dad was the main provider for our family and having no health insurance leaves us the financial burden of finding a way to cover all the medical costs for him and my mom. We are having to also face costs for food, housing, and other needs. Two of my dad's daughters from Mexico have been in the process of obtaining an emergency visa to come and be with him. We are asking for any help we can get during this time. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Right now all we can do is wait and see how his condition proceeds. We thank you in advance and ask that you give what you can even if it's only a prayer in his name.

El día jueves agosto 31, 2023 mi papá Efrain Lemus tuvo un grave accidente automovilístico, junto con mi mamá Rosario Ramírez. Mi papá Efrain sigue en condición crítica con múltiples fracturas y un trauma en su cerebro, aún sigue en ICU (cuidados intensivos) y entubado para poder respirar. Mi mamá tiene fractura en su espalda y su mano, junto con moretones en todo su cuerpo, a ella le dieron de alta del hospital pero sigue al lado de mi papá en ICU. Nuestro padre es nuestro principal provedor para nuestra familia y no tiene aseguranza médica, buscamos la forma de poder cubrir los gastos médicos para el y para mi mamá, y los gastos familiares, les pedimos de su generosidad y su ayuda en estos momentos difíciles, por favor manténganlos en sus oraciones, por el momento lo único que podemos hacer es esperar para ver cómo progresa.
