Help Efrain keep his home

Efrain is a coworker and friend to the Sylvia Mendez community who cares so much for our students. He lost his mother 7 years ago (he was 17-18) and the home is still under her name. Efrain has taken care of the home and his father since. During the Pandemic Efrain fell behind on mortgage payments and is now informed that the house will be taken away because it is not under his or his father's name.

Efrain has spoken and consulted with multiple lawyers that can help him do an emergency spousal transfer of home ownership however, that has a cost and needs support.

We ask for your monetary support so that Efrain can keep his home.
