To Our Angels,
In our darkest moments of this horrific experience while hearing the news that Heidi had been mis-diagnosed of her condition our Angels appeared! When this site was initiated our luck started to change. Heidi’s procedure to remove fluid from around her lungs was successful and she is breathing easier. Her oxygen levels are now back to normal, but most importantly we have been finally cleared TO COME HOME and get her the care that she needs.
We are so appreciative of the love, support and extreme generosity that you have given us. You picked our heads up when they were down and you touched our hearts which gave us strength to move forward against the odds. We are happy to report that we have secured a company that is fittingly called Angel Med Flight. It is a medically staffed and equipped plane that provides a bed to bed service, which means Heidi will not have to get out of a horizontal position the entire way to the hospital in Tampa. The hospital in Tampa will re-assess Heidi’s fractures and see if there is anymore damage that has not been discovered.
We are so grateful for you Angels and what you have done for us. We are forever indebted to you!!!

UPDATE 1/30 - They have decided to go with Angel Air to fly Heidi directly to Tampa General Hospital. Thursday is the tentative departure date pending Doctors orders and more X-rays.

Thank you all for supporting them in this time of need! We still need to share and pray as we are half way to the goal of helping them pay for this unfortunate event!

UPDATE - Heidi got fluid removed from her lungs last night (1/29) and is feeling better from that procedure. She is still in need of surgery that can not take place where they currently are.
Justin is working with 3 companies to try and get
them home and it looks like the quotes are in the mid-twenties! Please keep sharing and praying!!!

Our sweet friends are in need. Heidi and Justin Snelson with a group of friends were vacationing in Turks and Caicos when Heidi and 2 other friends were involved in a horrific car accident (it was during the day, no alcohol was involved, someone t-boned them).
This happened on 1/26 and were due to come home on 1/28. The weekend hospital staff mis-diagnosed her condition. Once new staff did more x-rays they found broken ribs, fluid on her lungs and all 4 quadrants of her pelvis is fractured. Insurance will not pay to have her flown home, only to the nearest hospital for surgery which is not any better of a hospital then they are at now. They really want to get her home to Tampa General to have the surgeries performed. They will need funds to get her home and pay her medical bills.
Any help and prayers are appreciated.
