I really hate to ask for help, especially when so many great people have already done so much for me, and some of my other close friends are hurting as well. The truth is, I just can't get by in my current state anymore.

I'm a brain anuerysm survivor, and though I have monthly bills regarding that, I'll continue taking care of those bills on my own.



What has pushed me into the realm of needing help is a sudden appearance of Kidney Stones. After being rushed to the ER on Sept 2nd, 2014, I have another set of medical bills on top of the ones that I already barely afford.

As of today, Sept 12th, I have still not passed the stones on my own and if the pain persists, I'm told I need to go back in, which will no doubt be another set of funds.

For now, I'm going to pretend something good will come along and maybe I can pass them in the next day or two. The total of my hospital visit came to around $12,000, but I'm told by the nice man working in their payments program that he'll try to help me drop it to around $7,000 - $8,000. 



I can pay part of the bills on my own, but I need help paying at least half, which is $3500. If I raise more, that would be amazing, if we raise less, every little bit still helps and I'm eternally grateful.

I'll offer some prizes that I'll ship out by the end of the year or early next year for those who have more to give. I'm sorry I can't offer more than my these few bodies of work, my gratitude, and my love for your help.

PRIZES I'M OFFERING:

SOLESTAR: This is a book we funded on Kickstarter in 2012, telling the story of the world's last superhero, SOLESTAR, as he spends his final day trying to turn at least one of his villains into a hero before he dies. It's an ALL-AGES book, telling one single story with each page donated by a different artist from around the world. 70+ artists all contributed to bring this unique story to life.

MONOMYTH: My first comic book series, published by OSSM Comics (www.ossmcomic.com). Written by me, with beautiful art by Eric Ninaltowski, MONOMYTH is the story of Lucifer and Michael told in reverse, with Lucifer telling Adam & Eve NOT to eat the apple, and Michael falling from grace. From there the story follows Enoch, a young man born in a perfect society within the gates of Eden, but questions everything and yearns for something more. Sadly, he gets the imperfect world he wished for when Michael and his forces arrive to destroy Eden.

ELAN VITAL: Earlier this year I funded this project in less than 48 hours with the help of some truly amazing people. I love robots and wanted to tell the story of the first robot that gets a soul, and how he adjusts to the world. This project is deeply personal as in many ways, I'm my lead character, ELAN VITAL. Each page in the book is a different style of art that I do myself. From dancing, painting, and singing to drawing, cooking, and photography, I attempt to do over 50 styles to discover what type of artist I am now, post aneurysm. In the story, ELAN, the robot, is doing each piece of art, finding different emotions within that he now has and discovering what type of human being he has become.
