I am reaching out to friends and family with the hopes of getting funding to help me and my small business showcase at Paris Fashion Week in September of 2023 and to sustain my company after the wake of a divorce and some unforeseen circumstances.

Erin Fader Jewelry’s success continues to grow. In the past 3 months, Doja Cat wore the collection for TIME magazines 100 most influential people of the year. It was featured on the entire season of BRAVO TVs Selling Sunset, Real Housewives of Orange County, and Cardi B, Lindsey Lohan, and Suki Waterhouse; were a few recent celebrities seen in EFJD. Just today we were featured in Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam.

My business has gone through some changes in the past 2 years. In 2021, I moved from west to east coast, and it took a year to set up shop, build a new team, and get organized. We blew up during Covid, and the growth and success was amazing, but after the move, that momentum was damaged.

This year, going through a divorce in February, I had to invest a big portion of by business savings to get into a location, (also a home,) where I could live, raise my son Jackson, and where my team and I could run the company.

Shortly after the move, and as a single mom, Instagram, where 80% of our sales come from, took down my account unexpectedly. It took me over 60 days to recover it, where eventually Instagram apologized for their mistake, but I lost 60+ days of sales and had to dig deeper into my business savings to survive and pay employees.

It was a hard lesson but is has taught me so much. I am now focusing on other sales outlets; wholesale, tik tok, and live events. Truly doing everything I physically and mentally can to keep the business alive.

Last year, we got invited to showcase at Paris Fashion Week and expanded the company brand globally. Our reach was incredible and we planned to make the same move this year, as we got invited by a higher level producer to showcase. We have the marketing strategy and experience to execute more successfully this year than last, but my financial situation shifted so dramatically, and I am at the point where I cannot afford the commitment.

I have put my entire heart and soul into growing this business and company. I’m at a pivotal point where financially I need help to take this next opportunity that I was invited to, and I would love to share it with you, and would be forever grateful for the assistance to get my collection on the runway again.

My goal is to get grounded again and get my business back to being profitable so that next year I can pitch to investors. I have built this company from nothing and have never had to ask for help before, but here I am.
