Help with Sue Saari’s Kidney Transplant

My mother, Sue Saari is known throughout Saint Paul, MN for helping the community and it’s people hold onto memories of loved ones through her memory bears. But more importantly, she is a loving mom and grandma.

For over a decade, my mother has experienced heartbreak after heartbreak leading to overwhelming distress. From losing my father, her husband of 34 years at an early age, to now being diagnosed with multiple health scares.

Over the past past few months, my mother has been diagnosed with kidney failure, Hepatitis C, gallstones, anemia, Sciatica, pneumonia and viral infections including bronchitis.

With my mom’s kidney function continuing to decrease, the process of getting a transplant is fast approaching. We know it’s going to be a tough road ahead. Matching compatibility for kidney donation is a tough process as cross-matching antigens and antibodies can be difficult.

As a community of family and friends to my mother, this is a great time to come together to support her in this difficult time. The proceeds of this GoFundMe will go toward the expenses (insurance copays and/or uncovered insurance costs) that come along with her transplant in order to help boost her back up to full health.
