Let me give you some back story before I ask for money.

As most of you know, Josh and I both were working for a hotel in Norman. The job was perfect at first, as Josh and I had spent time dreaming of running a property together. I had the opportunity to train in a whole new sector of customer service, and in that, I found my calling. But things turned sour very quickly. I won't disclose the details since the people who made things challenging can't defend themselves, but it was a nightmare that damaged us both, Josh especially. We were in the process of trying to get out, and we were professional about it, still putting all of our energy into jobs that we couldn't stomach. But in a true showing of the situation we were in, we both got fired over the phone nearly 2 weeks ago. The firing was pretty unjustified, especially the "reasons" they gave me. While getting fired afforded us the amazing opportunity we have now, we are struggling. Unemployment is taking weeks, and Josh doesn't get his first paycheck for a few weeks as well. We have exhausted all of our options. We don't need help moving, or with anything major, we literally just need funds for a few weeks so our kids can eat and so we don't fall behind on the bills that are pending through the rest of this month. 

This is really hard for us, as we prefer to handle our struggles privately, but now the struggle is affecting our children, and I can't let that happen.
