December 16th, 2015, Leroy Green brought 2 people into his home in attempt to help them. He provided them with food and shelter for the night. They returned the favor by beating him within an inch of his life, robbing him, stealing his pickup, and leaving him for dead. Doctors thought he had been shot in the head, as this is what the hospital had told us. His injuries were so severe, that Leroy underwent two major brain surgeries to repair the damage done. This concludes the removal of skull fragments from his brain and replacing at least one half of his skull with metal plates. Leroy and his family are asking for donations to help pay bills and other expenses, such as, therapy, expense to and from the doctors, and his medi-flight expense. He is unable to work and will be unable to work for quite sometime until he recovers. We do want you to know, that they do have the two people in custody that attacked Leroy. We are waiting to hear back from the District Attorney as to what charges are being brought against them.
