Tim Van Horne - Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
We are "friends" of Tim Van Horne. As you may be aware, Tim suffered a massive heart attack this fall. What you may not be aware of is that Tim is a Type I diabetic.
In Type I diabetes, the pancreas does not produce insulin. Heart attacks and other cardiovascular complications cause the death of nearly 3 out of every 4 people with type 1 diabetes.
Tim survived his heart scare. However, this was not the end of the story. In the usual Tim fashion, he did not wan't to "worry" anyone, or draw attention to himself unecessarily.......or be a "downer".
It's time for the rest of his reality to be shared.
Tim is extremley ill. His kidneys are functioning at below 20 percent. He will need a kidney and pancreas transplant to survive. He is tired, scared, and weak. He has to work full time, and as this is a relatively new job, his health insurance has not kicked in. There are medical bills from the heart episode to pay, as well as new bills, paperwork, and medications to deal with.
As always, Tim did not want to burden any of his friends or family. The fact is, there are so many things that need to be done it's overwhelming. Add to this the fatigue, worry, and general physical exhaustion - the last thing this family needs is to be worried about money. Tim is unable to pay the Obamacare premium at this time.
He needs the money now. This means so much to him and his family as they are struggling to absorb this new health information and plan for their future.
Every cent of any donation will go directly to pay Tim's existing medical bills. Any left over funds will be used to pay the Obamacare premium. (approximately $3,000)
God bless you for reading this, a small donation instead of hitting Starbucks or buying lunch can make all the difference. This was very brave of Tim to "go public"
Yours Truly,
