TNT Upper Missouri River Trip

Donation protected
True North Treks is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young adult cancer survivors by connecting with nature, other survivors, and oneself. This program assists cancer survivors to "get back on trek" and recalibrate their life compasses which have been demagnetized by cancer. The survivor learns to not only find the way, but choose the way their life will be led with the support of their loved ones and peers.

I had the privilege to participate in TNT's Cancer Survivor & Caregiver trek canoeing on the Upper Missouri River. Now, we'd like to pay it forward as our thanks for their wonderful program. These donations will assist TNT in providing these wonderful nature treks and learning experiences to other cancer survivors in the future.

My friend Karla and I, along with a group of 4 other survivor/caretaker pairs, canoed 50 miles, camped out in the woods, and engaged in mindful meditation to connect with ourselves and peers. We also got eaten alive by mosquitos, learned some outdoor survival skills, and led a "rugged" wilderness life for a week. Yes… it was worth it!

Please help us support True North Treks and consider giving a tax deductible donation. For more information on the organization, you can go to: www.truenorthtreks.org.
