My name is Efan, and I am proud to be the only Welsh gymnast selected for the Great Britain Trampoline Team travelling to China to compete at the World Age Group Championships.

This incredible opportunity will allow me to compete against the best gymnasts from around the world and gain invaluable international experience as I continue my development within the sport.

This year has been one of my most successful and rewarding seasons. I have competed in a number of major events, achieving personal bests and upgrading my routines to further develop as an athlete. Highlights include representing Wales at the Home Nations Championships, where I won a Gold Medal, and the prestigious Loulé Cup in Portugal, where I earned a Silver Medal.

Alongside competition success, I dedicate a significant amount of time to training at Fusion Gymnastics Wales. I train five times a week, focusing on routine development, learning new skills, improving technique, strength and conditioning, and preparing to compete at the highest level possible.

As with many young athletes, all competition costs are self-funded. Expenses such as travel, accommodation, competition entry fees, training camps, and team kit place a significant financial burden on athletes and their families.

I am seeking funding to help me represent both Great Britain and Wales on the world stage. Any support, no matter the size, will contribute directly towards the costs of attending the World Age Group Championships and continuing my journey in elite trampolining.
