Help Aubree Find Joy After Losing Rowdy
Donation protected
If you've owned animals, you’ve most likely experienced loss. Our beloved pets come into our lives and sometimes we have many happy years; other times, it's cut short. My bonus daughter Aubree's colt, Rowdy, had an unfortunate accident at just over 1 year old. He was caught in some fencing, and we believe he fractured his spine or had major nerve damage. With the help of two on-site vets and a remote conversation with the university vet, we decided that euthanasia was the best course of action. Rowdy was a beautiful palomino gelding; he had a sweet personality and loved playing halter tag with his pasture friends. He will be so missed!
I'm reaching out to the horse community for donations to help Aubree buy another colt or roping horse. She is a hard worker and just graduated nursing school and is moving into her new career. While she has the means and a place to keep a horse, the purchase of one will be hard at this time, especially with the recent vet bills.
Any size donation will be so appreciated by us all! Funds received will go to the purchase of a new prospect and if needed any vet PPE or transport costs.
Thank you, Judith
