Support Shayne's Road to Recovery

On August 1st, a few short hours after arriving home from our family vacation our beloved Shayne was involved in an incident that resulted in him almost losing his life. It started with a haunting phone call, 39 seconds long as my 17 year old baby brother urgently explained the severity of the issue and saying how much he loved everyone. A kid who was scared he would die.

After being flown to a trauma center and spending hours in surgery assesing his injuries, Shayne is recovering from multiple stab wounds-one of which sliced his abdomen open causing his intestine to be exposed. With the help of the amazing medical team and lots of prayers Shayne is on his way to recovery. God allowed a second chance for this kind, goofy, and loving boy to see another tomorrow.

That day a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend was centimeters away from having his precious life taken. A pain I would never wish upon anyone to experience and a pain that will haunt Shayne and my family forever.
