I'm a 17-year-old youth from Tampa, Fl with a dream to become an entertainer.  Although I'm good at a lot of things, I have found myself to have an exceptional gift of expressing thought through rhythm and rhyme.  Therefore, I would like to become a hip hop entertainer.  While chasing this dream, I feel that I have become an inspiration to many of the youth around me and hope to become the same for youth around the world.  My message to them is to live out your dreams no matter how difficult it gets.  This road has been difficult for me, but I'm learning so much along the way.  I was a recent winner of a Sony Distribution competition in my city.  As a result, I earned an opportunity to travel to many cities to promote my dream.  Being a young man from a single parent household and income, it is difficult to fund this experience.  Therefore, I'm reaching out to you all. I looking to fund a promotional trip.  The funds that I am requesting, will go toward th expense of the trip; to include hotel accommodations, travel and movement around the city. 
This trip will not only provide me with an opportunity to follow my dreams, but it will also support the faith that so many of us need in the goodness of a global community. 
Although I would be extremely grateful to satisfy the goal that I have set, I am no less grateful that you took the time to consider my request.
