A group of Dave Mutch’s biggest supporters have come together to help him in his battle with amyloidosis and cancer, and you can help too!
Dave’s story
Dave is the oldest son of Charlie and Alma Mutch. He lives in Mount Herbert, PEI with his wife, Jeni (Young), and their sons Luke (age 9) and Jack (age 4).
Dave is a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, nephew and friend, who was diagnosed in July with multiple myeloma and amyloidosis, a rare, life-threatening illness which has attacked his heart. He has undergone treatment in Halifax, NS, and is currently receiving treatment at the QEH. He will continue to be seen in Halifax and will also require trips to an amyloidosis specialist in Toronto. The funds raised here will help Dave and his family travel for consults and treatment. Dave’s spirits remain high, and he’s a joy to be around, lighting up every room he enters with his ever-present sense of humour and infectious grin.
Dave is well known for his kindness and generosity to others, and now he is the one in need of help.
