Doug Russo is a family man with three kids and a loving wife. He is a Journeyman Farrier as well as a resident Farrier at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Doug also enjoys any chance he gets to cowboy.
Recently Doug had come to Wyoming to visit friends and entered up in a benefit roping. During this roping he lost his thumb, was airlifted to Denver to have the thumb reattached. The surgery was unsuccessful. He is home now resting. His wife works as a nurse and will be supporting the family while Doug is recovering.
