Billy Wood Memorial and Family Fund

Story

On Monday, Sept 8th at 7:15am in Waterbury Center, Vermont, our father, husband and dear friend died from a rapid and consuming Depression that overwhelmed him. Family and friends have been left reeling from this sudden and unexpected end. Billy Wood, born in Blackpool, England; was charismatic, incredibly funny, a practical and generous Vermont implant, and a very dear friend to many. He leaves a wife, 5 children, mother and sister behind, but also a dynamic group of friends from all over the world. We all now deeply grieve this sudden loss. Unfortunately, he also leaves behind an incredible expense for a family with little means... to reunite his family in England for a memorial. This fund is intended to help pay for funeral costs and fly his family based in Vermont (wife, 14 year old Obi and 16 year old Emily) to England to be with his mother; Cath, sister; Doreen and 3 older children; Thomas, Danielle and Rebecca for his final memorial. Please help us by sharing this link and donating, there is no amount too small. Please help everyone by choosing now to learn the signs of Depression and help remove the stigma from the condition. Thank you,Maggie, Obi, Emily, Thomas, Danielle and Rebecca.
