Help Ken fight cancer!

Hi my name is Alicia Westbrook and I am fundraising for my friend and colleague Dr. Ken Schofield who was recently diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Ken is a fourth grade teacher and has spent his life serving children as a principal, teacher, foreign exchange host and foster parent.

This diagnosis was of course a total shock and no one is prepared for this kind life changing news. Many of Ken’s family and friends are still living several states away as he’s recently relocated to North Carolina. So, besides helping with medical expenses, these funds will help with meals, house cleaning, dog walking, and any other needs that may occur during this journey.

Unfortunately, all of us know someone who’s been affected by cancer and have seen how devastating this disease can be; not only physically but also financially. Ken has spent his career nurturing and caring for others and is a valued member of our school community. Please consider supporting him in any way you are able!
