Help Eeyore Get to His Forever Home

Hi friends! My name is Jessica, and I foster medical dogs in Atlanta, Georgia — usually the ones who need a little extra care to have a shot at adoption.

One of those dogs is Eeyore, a 9-year-old senior who landed in the shelter severely sick, underweight, and completely shut down. He wasn’t eating. He had no spark left. But I brought him home in April, and after months of vet care, patience, and love, he came back to life.

And now? Eeyore has been officially adopted!

His forever family is in Texas — 800 miles away. They’ve completed all the paperwork and are ready to welcome him with open arms.

The only thing left is getting him there.

Unfortunately, the shelter doesn’t help with transport or funding, and the cost to drive him myself (plus arranging care for my other fosters) would be more expensive and complicated than hiring a transporter. So I found a trusted, insured transport service through CitizenShipper that will safely bring Eeyore to his new home — for about $450.

I told his new family that we’d find a way. Now I’m asking for your help to make that happen. ❤️
