Salutations! Some of you might know me and all my fabulousness but for those of you that don't, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Heather. Im a 30 something mother of 2 awesome kids with a penchant for faeries, a great love for coffee and (unfortunately) a case of End Stage Renal Disease. About 2 years ago I got really sick and they told me my kidneys were shot. I was on hemo dialysis for awhile (it sucked!), then I switched to peritoneal dialysis (but it also sucks!) and now I'm trying to score myself a new body part. I recently got my call for my transplant evaluation, it's looking really good but since I havent been able to work for the past couple years, I have no monies or coorporate insurance. One of the requirements to get me on that kidney list is to have a fat chunk of cash to assure I can pay for my ridiculously expensive immunosuppresants after they plug someone elses organ into my squishy bits. So here I am, throwing myself at your good graces in hope that we can raise the cash it takes to give me another chance at a normal life. Woot!
