This year our world has been turned upside down and we are slowly starting to put it all back together. The Del Forno Family has received information that goes beyond just putting back the pieces. With unexplained delays, physicians recently sought out to find answers for their sweet 2-year old Gloria. Their beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with Leigh syndrome. This is a severe neurological disorder that usually becomes apparent in the first year of life. This condition is characterized by a progressive loss of mental and movement abilities (psychomotor regression). Gloria's life has not been determined or capped because we know our God is bigger than all. The Del Fornos know they have a different life ahead of them with struggles many of us could not fathom. They also know they have a love for their baby girl that knows no bounds. As friends and a community, it's time to stand behind the Del Fornos. Nicole has served our community as one of the most loved teachers of all time. Andrew works diligently to keep our school running and beautiful. Let's take this time to stand with them, to pray with them, and to give Gloria and her big brother Matteo some everlasting memories! Gloria's condition is said to progress rapidly in some and slower in others. They do know she has been affected 100%. The purpose of this fundraiser is to fund adventures, fun, and any additional expenses (enormous) the Del Forno's have ahead of them.
