Eevee’s life saving surgery

I first got Eevee when she was just a year old in 2023, I adopted her and she has been the best cat, and my best friend ever since. She is the sweetest, most loving cat I could have ever hoped for.

Unfortunately, when I thought I had adopted a healthy cat, I found lumps in her neck one day and decided to take her to the vet. They told me that she has a mild case of stomatitis, which should be treatable with medications. Since then, I have tried every possible medication, pain reliever, immune booster, healthy diet, x-rays, and blood testing that you can imagine. But now things are taking a turn for the worse and Eevee now has an infection in her mouth from her case turning severe. This has led to dead tissue, which will spread to her heart and liver if not treated. I will not give up on her, and the vets are positive that this surgery will give her the best life and she will not have any further issues. She is the happiest girl even though she is in so much pain, and I promised her I would give her the best life when I adopted her, including doing whatever it takes to make her happy and healthy.

I wish it didn’t have to come to this, but I am a student and this surgery is very invasive to save her life, so it may cost as much as 7 thousand dollars if there are complications. So with a heavy heart I have to reach out and ask for help.
