Hi, I'm Eevee's mum, Clare. Eevee was diagnosed with tourettes on 31/10/2024. On 2/11/2024 Eevee started having non epileptic seizures. Since then she has developed full body cramping and worsening seizures (that can last and hour sometimes even an hour and a half) along with many other issued. These are so debilitating! We suspect Eevee has PANDAS however the NHS cannot support us through this due to lack of guidelines. There is a private doctor in London who specialises in PANS/PANDAS and our next step on this journey is to see him. However cost for this would be very high.

PANDAS is a Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders associated with Streptococcal and effects the brain barrier. This means Infections can cause disruption in the brain leading to the symptoms Eevee shows.

We are asking for any support you can offer to help us get the treatment Eevee needs as the longer this goes undiagnosed and treated the worse and harder it can be to treat.
