Help a deserving student avoid homelessness

I am reaching out to ask for help for a student of mine and his family. Through no fault of their own, they have fallen on very difficult times. The past year has been incredibly difficult for them, to the point that they have spent part of the last year living in a tent in a campground.   They are currently struggling to pay for certain necessities, such as rent and utilities. The student is a source of inspiration, you would never know from their demeanor the difficulties they have to endure. The student is polite, works hard and never complains. In my 24 years in the classroom, I have never experienced anything like it. 

I am hoping to raise money to help them get back on their feet, to alleviate some of the stress of having to worry about rent, food and other bills of necessity.  All money raised will go towards those ends. Should they find themselves back on their feet before all the money raised is utilized, the remainder will be donated to the Quakertown Food Pantry and/or A Woman’s Place of Bucks County.
