The School of Harvest is a community-rooted Montessori micro-school in Ward 7, DC — a place where young people (ages 11–14) learn with their hands, hearts, and minds.
We spend our days in a multi-age classroom and under the open sky at the Marvin Gaye Greening Center, tending soil, studying the city, creating art, and discovering who we are in community.
We believe every young person deserves a place where they can belong, explore, and build purpose — not just prepare for tests. Together, we’re growing that space, one season and one act of generosity at a time.
This fall, we’re raising $25,000 to keep our doors open and our program accessible for families in Ward 7 and beyond.
