A Story That Inspires Us

Earlier this year, a visit to Sierra Leone brought the challenges children face into clear focus. We met families who, through our Family Business for Education program, are now able to send their children to school—opening up a world of possibilities for the future.

But there are still many children waiting for this chance. One image that stays with us is that of a young girl, no older than five, sleeping on the street, clutching a tray of mangoes for comfort. It’s for children like her that we’re working to make a difference this Christmas.
