Eelighs car wash journey :)

Hi my name is Shanice, I'm Eelighs mother, Eeligh has been experiencing a lot of bullying at school and he has been assaulted physically 9 times now since he started last year, one incident a few weeks ago he was held at knife point & another last week where he was jumped by 6 other boys, all of which knocked his confidence badly and broke his trust in people and the world, to the degree that he didn't want to go to school anymore !

Eeligh decided though that he wasn't going to be defined by his experience and actually he was going to try and improve his confidence and mental health by finding a way to make money !

This is what started the car washing , Eeligh made a sign and knocked the neighbours doors and started offering car washes for £5 !!

Since this started he has been so motivated and it really has uplifted his mood and confidence levels and I feel like I'm getting my boy back so thank you all so much for coming down for your car washes !

Just the little things like hearing him sing in his room is a sound I've missed badly and lately I hear him singing again, I'm so proud of him and his strength and determination, he's an inspiration, so strong & committed!

Eeligh is doing all of this to try and save up to buy himself a PC set up so he's working day in day out and on some weekends to earn enough to get to his goal!

He is making a good few pounds car washing but we've had a few people want to make donations and can only do it through this hence why he set one up...
