My name is Morgan, running this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend, Cass. While you may not know them personally, if you've known me at all in the last 5 years, you've no doubt heard at least one story about Cass, be it the wild way we got close, the DnD Hallway Incident, or one of the myriad ways they've changed my life for the better and continue to be a source of light for me over the years. Cass has recently moved out on their own after separating from their spouse. Long story short, said spouse has now left them high and dry without any financial help, and divorce is a long process. They're also without work because the job they had would not accommodate medically necessary time off. I'm keeping the goal fairly modest for now because I have no clue what to expect from sharing this, but Cass' needs include funds to cover rent, electricity, food, gas to continue Doordashing for income, and internet to keep applying for jobs.
