My name is Madison, and I am reaching out with deep sadness to ask for help for my dog, Eli. He is a 7-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd and has been my best friend since I was 17 years old. I brought him home when he was just 8 weeks old, and from that moment on, we’ve grown up together.

Eli is not just a pet, he is family. He has been with me through every milestone, challenge, and joy in my life. He was rushed in for emergency bowel surgery and is now in need of intensive care to recover.

The cost of this life-saving surgery and aftercare is more than I can manage on my own as a full-time student. I am doing everything I can to be there for him, just as he has always been there for me.
