John Moenkedick

John was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme in late April after a series of seizures and other symptoms that hospitalized him in February. He is currently doctoring at Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, MN where he will undergo a resection of the tumor in the left temporal lobe of his brain. After some recovery time, he will begin radiation and chemotherapy. Fortunately, the chemo can take place in his own home but his radiation will consist of daily trips to Fergus Falls from anywhere between six & eight weeks. His doctors have given a prognosis of 12-18 months, even with the treatments we're choosing to try. As a family, we are completely devastated but we know the Great Physician is in control, knows and loves Dad more than any of us can and is in the business of miracles.
