In Loving Memory of Gloria Flores

It is with profound sorrow and a broken heart that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Flores. After enduring a long and painful battle with severe illness, Gloria passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Gloria faced extraordinary hardship in her final years. She suffered from tuberculosis and multiple infections, endured kidney failure that required dialysis, and lived with diabetes that gradually weakened her body. She also experienced significant loss of hearing and vision. Despite these overwhelming challenges, and despite being unable to receive certain life-saving treatments due to lack of insurance, she remained incredibly strong and full of love for those around her.

Above all else, Gloria was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a woman whose heart was always open to others. She was the center of our home — a safe place for everyone, especially her four daughters, to whom she was deeply devoted. She shared a loving bond with her husband and cherished her role as a grandmother to her two grandchildren. Gloria had a rare gift for connection; she made friends wherever she went, whether in her neighborhood or at work, and she left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses so we may lay Gloria to rest with the dignity, respect, and peace she deserves. Due to time-sensitive arrangements, we humbly ask for assistance before November 27. Any additional support will also help care for the family she leaves behind, particularly her husband, who is not currently working as he grieves this immeasurable loss.
