My Niece Tasha Winters suffered a terrible injury in the Dominican Republic, shattering her pelvis. She is unstable to transport back to the US until she has surgery.  Many Islands in the Caribbean do not take US health insurance and her surgery is urgently needed.  It has been 4 days and the insurance company still has not negotiated payment to the hospital for the surgery.  We desperately need to raise cash to get this urgent surgery done and get her back home to the US for medical care.  She has been suffering in the Dominican in sub standard medical conditions, without proper medications and diagnostic essentials and basic needs like electricity and blankets.  Please help me get my niece home, we appreciate any help anyone can give, and we will keep everyone updated on her progress.  Sincerely the Ferber, Winters, and Nelson Families.
