Mariel Barrera-Iturburo was an incredibly loving mother, righteous sister, and supportive friend. Mariel's unique and selfless love will live on and strive in her husband John, their two young boys, her brothers, sisters, and father. As well as the countless friends and acquaintances she had the pleasure of befriending, and working with. Anyone can agree Mariel carried a grandiose light that exemplified human compassion. It was a blessing to share the world with such a beautiful warrior. Mariel battled stage 4 gliboblastoma for 6 years. Each day she held herself with grace, patience, strife, perseverance, and an infectious smile. But most importantly, she continued her battle with love and God as her companion. All for those around her. Donations and proceeds will be towards Mariel's funeral and medical expenses. The loss of Mariel's earthly being will be mourned tremendously. Mariel's spirit will live on in every soul she touched.
