Support Jenyaih's Journey to Recovery

On May 3rd at 2:12am I had received a phone call that my daughter had been shot. She was an innocent victim who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Every parents worse nightmare is a phone call saying that their child had been hurt.
When I got into the hospital I was met by the Chaplin. In my soul I knew something wasn't right. I was taken upstairs and sat in a waiting room for the doctor to talk to us. That is when I found out my daughter was shot in her shoulder and in her head The doctor told us that 100% of people with her type of injury don't survive and that my daughter wasn't going to survive her injuries. The doctors gave her no longer than 48hrs and said that within those 48hrs her brain would swell and she would go brain dead
I was backed up in such a tight corner with no hope given. I turned to God and put every inch of my faith in Him.
Miraculously and by God's amazing grace my daughter survived. She is now in a rehabilitation hospital in Nebraska due to the injuries she sustained left her with a severe TBI (traumatic brain injury).
She will be discharged home next week but still needs a lot of care. We are fundraising for some medical equipment that won't be covered by her insurance as well as for some financial assistance due to the financial hardship we are facing because I have not been to work since this has happened to our daughter. I'm not sure when I'll be able to go back to work in the healthcare field as my focus is on my daughter and the care she needs for a successful road to recovery.
We absolutely appreciate any and every donation through this trialing time. I have never been the one to ask for help and instead have always been the one to help others in need but this is the time when I really am in need of help. I never pictured myself going through anything so traumatizing like this. I never planned for such an altering life tragedy. I absolutely would appreciate any support through this time. We also ask that you continue to keep Jenyaih and our family in your prayers as she still has a long road to recovery ahead of her. God bless
