It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Edwin John Bernard on March 8, 2025, after a courageous and long battle with cancer. Edwin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He was a proud Puerto Rican, a Chief in the Navy Reserves, and a devout Christian who spent his life spreading the word of God.

Throughout his life, Edwin touched the hearts of many with his kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. His loss leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts.

As we navigate this challenging time, we are asking for support to help cover the costs of Edwin’s memorial services. The VA will only cover very specific costs leaving our family to the majority of the expenses. We hope that with your donations, we can give Edwin the dignified and respectful farewell he deserves.
