This GoFundMe is to raise funds for Diana Johnson, mother of Edward Johnson.

Edward was a beloved son, friend, coworker, and member of the community. On March 8th, 2025, Edward passed away suddenly, leaving his mother (whom he lived with) alone.

Just prior to his passing, he and his mother were forced out of their home, forcing them to live in a motel while seeking a new place to live. It was at this motel where Edward passed away, before they could find a new place to move into. Diana is still currently living at this motel, but without financial help from Edward, it is proving to be too expensive for her to manage alone. In addition to funeral costs and rent, she is now without transportation, a permanent home, an adequate source of income, and her beloved son.

Diana is almost entirely alone in this stressful and painful struggle. The good-hearted people of the community, and those who knew Edward personally, must come together and help his grieving mother have financial and mental peace so that she can continue moving forward as best she can and grieve the loss of her son with peace of mind.
