Edward&Darnell recover from Tragic Lahaina Fire

It has been 2 weeks since the devastating fires in Maui. My brother, Edward along with his girlfriend Darnell and most of inhabitants of Lahaina, lost their home, friends, pets and belongings in the fire. In his fear, he told himself and family, they “will be alright”. They are alive. However, the Trauma is REAL. There is Fear, Hurt and Loss. After 2 weeks in a gymnasium shelter, Edward agreed they NEED HELP! All who know Edward know he is courageous, kind and humble and would go without so others may not have to. For him to acknowledge and ask for help is a BIG Deal.

Their home was completely destroyed by the fire. It was a generational home, (where Darnell also grew up) and had been in her family for almost 70 years… It was simple, small and full of Aloha. Because of ridiculously unaffordable and unreachable $$ insurance costs, it was uninsured like many of the native islander homes. The loss and heartbreak is unfathomable and beyond words. The road to recovery will be long. The money raised will go towards rebuilding their home and daily living expenses. PLEASE HELP!
