Hi everyone! I'm starting this in efforts to help raise money for my dad.
After overcoming his previous battles of kidney and prostate cancer, on March 3, 2020, my dad was hospitalized with what was suspected as a minor infection. After having numerous labs, tests, and scans taken, it was determined that he has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which is a type of cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow. My dad spent a total of 42 days in the hospital to have chemotherapy treatments and blood transfusions to help with his diagnosis. Since being discharged from the hospital, my dad continues to have chemotherapy treatments in hopes of a cure, but we just learned that the chemotherapy treatments were just a form of maintenance, and a bone marrow transplant is needed urgently. He is a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle that is always helping others in need. It would mean a lot to us if you found it in your heart to donate towards my dad's medical expenses during this difficult time of our lives. All funds raised will go directly to help pay for extended medical expenses that will not be covered by insurance. Any amount, large or small, will help and is greatly appreciated.
