My Name is Faye Trinkle and I am starting this gofundme to help with the cost of funeral, burial and memorial for my husband, Edward L. Trinkle III. Ed has been through a long rough road for approximately the last year and a half. He had Lung Cancer and had his lower lobe removed on August 8, 2024 and this was supposed to be, at the most a 10 day hospital stay. Unfortunately we soon found out that it was the beginning of a now almost 1.5 yr struggle to survive. Ed has been in the hospital/ICU and 4 nursing home/rehabilitation centers. Ed is currently at Mountain Valley Hospice Home in Gloversville, NY we're he will be until he passes. He is now on pain management/comfort care. Ed is currently on SSDI and I work part time so that I can spend as much time with him as possible. We don't have Life insurance or any savings and as much as I don't want to ask for help, I feel it is necessary to take care of the expenses for his funeral, burial and memorial/celebration of life.
