It's with great sadness that we share with you the loss of Edward Lee Luttrell. Eddie, aka Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2017.
Some may know Eddie's story, while others may not. Eddie struggled with addiction most of his life. Addiction is a very difficult burden for any family to endure. It's something many families won't share publicly, but I know it's very real and many families are affected by. Eddie's battle with addiction lasted for a very long time and unfortunately ended in the loss of his life. As you can image, the loss of a loved one is very difficult for any family to endure, but even more so when it ends suddenly by addiction.
Eddie is survived by his parents and children. His parents live out of state and would like to see their son before he is laid to rest. The financial burden of handling Eddie's funeral arrangements is more than they are able to afford. The last 20 plus years have been very difficult on Eddie's parents and his children. The life of addiction steals the precious time that most families take for granted. There has been much heartache and loss. Planning a funeral is very difficult in itself, but not having the finances needed to meet the very basic expenses to lay a loved one to rest is even more emotionally taxing.
That is why we are reaching out to our friends and family to help us meet the basic needs of laying Eddie to rest. We want to extend dignity, honor and love as we pay our last respects to him.
We are asking for your financial help. If you are able to give financially, the family would greatly appreciate it.
Also, continued prayers for the family during this difficult time is most appreciated.
