GoFundMe for Edward J. Buis "Fast Eddy"

Over the last 8 months, our father fought a horrific & undeserving battle with his mental health. Day in and day out, we woefully watched him suffer from his anxiety and depression, trying his best to overcome an aggressive internal struggle with his demons. We never truly got Dad back since.

Emphasis on mental health needs so much more awareness in this world. Anyone who suffers from either of these debilitating illnesses is able to imagine the toll they can take, even on the strongest, happiest, kindest person, like our dad.

Dad put up the best fight he could, for as long as he felt he could. He tragically succumbed to the exhaustion of his internal battle, leaving our family thoroughly traumatized, heartbroken, in complete shock and in great fear of our future without him. There are honestly no words to describe the pain we are feeling, and will forever bear. Anyone who knows us knows how close we were and how much we love our dad. He will be missed more than words could ever explain.

Josh and I have never been the type to ask others for help in any way, we get that from Pa. But we are truthfully afraid of our financial future with the unexpected funeral costs and other expenses that have been placed upon us with the devastating loss of our dad.

It is very uncomfortable and humbling to ask for and accept monetary help from others. So it is in the most unpretentious way that we ask if it's at all possible to help our family in any way, to please accept our deepest gratitude and know how sincerely we appreciate your kindness and generosity.
