Edward D. Burke Memorial Fundraiser

Hello, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my wife, Erika Reilly to help with the financial resposibilities associated with the passing of a beloved family member, Erika's father Edward Burke.

Recently on Thursday, 6/1/23 Edward unexpectedly passed away in his sleep. He lived a happy life in Salome Arizona, a small town where he was a big part of the community and loved by all. He was 78 years old.

Life happens with no warning and everything can change in a moments notice. This year has already been a finanial struggle in which we have pushed through. Erika was home from work for the last 6 months due to medical reasons. She returned to work on 5/30/23 starting a new position in customer service. 2 days later she received the news of her fathers death.

Unfortunately there was no living will but he did want to be cremated. The process of navigating her fathers affairs in Arizona while in Washington has been difficult to say the least, and will involve several trips to Arizona and additional time off work.

I'm hoping to reach the financial goal so Erika can go to Arizona ASAP to take care of the cremation process, take possession of the ashes and obtain the death certificate.

Any donations, large or small are deeply appriciated and will help tremendously with funeral cost, travel, moving/storage fees and any legal expenses associated with probate.
