Please help us raise funds for our 2027 'Giddy Up and Go' educational programme for young teens aged 12-16 who experience challenges in mainstream school!
We ran a hugely successful pilot of this programme from March to June this year and the outcomes of this pilot are currently evaluated by University College Cork with a report of the findings made available shortly.
We are now on the way to raise enough funds to run this programme again in 2027 - to support youngsters on their educational journey with the help of our therapy horses on the Hairy Henry Care Farm which is situated near Bantry/West Cork/Ireland.
The programme is run by experienced social worker and educational tutor Sandra Schmid, using a holistic and person-centred approach to give participants a meaningful experience in an inclusive setting and build on their personal, inter social and life skills and resilience.
We would really appreciate your support in this if you can, every little helps!!!
