'Giddy Up and Go' - Educational programme for young teens

Hello, we are five trustees who have set up the Hairy Henry Educational Trust to raise funds for 'Giddy Up and Go', an educational programme for young teens aged 12-16 who experience challenges in mainstream school. This programme aims to support these youngsters with the help of the therapy horses on the Hairy Henry Care Farm. It will be run by experienced social worker and educational tutor Sandra Schmid, using a holistic and person-centred approach to give participants a meaningful experience in an inclusive setting and build on their personal, inter social and life skills and resilience.
