Educational Global Grant in Lebanon
This a Global Grant between Bristol (D1100) and Beirut Cedars (D2452) Rotary Clubs to teach coding, problem solving and critical thinking to a small cohort of teachers at a hub school. They then train a wider group of teachers, who instruct 10,000 students in 15 middle/senior community schools.
Coder Maker programme was launched in 2012 by IEA (International Education Association) 'not for profit' organization. Under the programme multiple 'work stations' are set up in each school, using Raspberry Pi's coding equipment.
“In memory of Peter Guttridge, Bristol RC International Chair, who died suddenly on 18th December, 2021."
