Educational forest trail and playground

Carmel New Church School was founded in 1891 and has a mandate to create a loving, peaceful place of learning; teaching students to become useful and caring people, in this life and in heaven. We specialize in holistic, Christian education for grades JK through 8.

To better meet the needs of our community, we are looking to create nature based play spaces with log climbing structures and play houses as well as an accessible trail with outdoor learning pods. These updates positively support the mission of the Carmel New Church grounds, to make them further accessible and useful to the broader communities of Doon South, Caryndale, and Brigadoon.

With the $50,000 we hope to raise, this will complete the last stage of fundraising to be able to begin this exciting project.
