Education for Change in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Tax deductible
In 2017 and 2018, these 4 sisters suffered the loss of both parents, leaving them to live in the very orphanage they had helped their late father, Bishop Fabrice, to build. His devoted daughter's are working hard to continue the efforts of their parents to change lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Sisters teach children in the church's educational programs, sing in a young adult choir, use their skills to make and sell beaded jewlery, cook for the community and use their brilliant minds to prepare for a better future in their war torn country. They are in college in Congo. Two are studying business (budgetary economics), one studies pre-law, and the youngest daughter, international relations.
Because of the conflict in parts of the country, we can't physically get to DRC to today to help. Now our financial investment in these young women will aid in ensuring that Congo has its own well prepared leaders to guide it to peace.
